Recently relocated for work from SLC,UT to Chicago,IL. Company was paying for move so got bids from three large national companies. United ended up getting the move bid. Worst mistake of my move was using their packing service. Boxes were not labeled correctly and spent days locating needed items and moving things up and down stairs...for some reason the packing crew thought labeling everything as Tupperware or sticking in odds and ends from around the house and neglecting to label boxes was just fine. I had 9 baskets of children's toys, they helpfully (not) decided to dump all contents in a couple of big boxes and hide the baskets in boxes labeled..surprise..incorrectly. My high value items were not where the "tracking" system had them. I found them later packed and mislabeled throughout the house. Some of my items were damaged (huge scratch on dresser and couple of display pieces damaged). Went ahead and gave them 2 stars because all my stuff got here but they made moving even more stressful.
We are moving from Chicago to Los Angeles, this company has rescheduled the pick up time now 4 times! Customer Service cannot guarantee when we will be picked up, we are scrambling to change flights, hotel reservations, etc. because they can't give us an accurate move day/time. I suggest using a different company, we are very disappointed with the level of service provided. They hope after the 4th reschedule to be here today, but cannot guarantee.
Very dishonest if your looking for lies and deceit this is the company for you run from them
I've got a United Van Lines truck loading up outside my house with their music blasting so loud, my neighbors on the next block, want to know whats going on over here. How unprofessional.
Never go with this moving company. They came and packed my goods and left in between. I was waiting for them to come, but they never returned that day. When i called them over phone they gave some childish reason. Very poor communication.
